It's over. The robot was completed yesterday evening for a grand build of 2 days. This of course, is nothing compared to a previous robot of mine, which was built in 3 hours. Regardless, it is a very mean machine and very unbalanced. Let's say, most of the design is put towards the offense, making it incredibly hard to turn. If anyone wants to calculate physics here: 5" solid disk, ~11,000 RPMs, ... yeah.
But it nonetheless, works well. I think I will try it out at Metrocon, and if I don't like the results, then I will revise the main weapon supports to add maneuverability.
A shot of the weapon disk. It totals at 14.4oz (for a 3 pound robot, that heavy!). I spent 2 hours, and about 9 cutting disks shaping those titanium teeth.
